About us.
We are a group of Speculative Fiction authors who write for publication.
There are no dues, though we do ask for occasional donations to cover things like domain name and web hosting, or, if meting live, sometimes we have a rental fee for places like Inclusion Coffee in Arlington, TX.
New members: please attend one meeting (live or online) before submitting or critiquing.
DATE: 2nd Saturday of the month
TIME: 6:00 pm central time
PLACE: Discord (usually, always check Discord)

SUBMIT: </= 8,000 words by midnight Sunday before meeting date. Upload your ms to #submissions-for-critique
CRITIQUES: upload to #critiques-uploaded
GUIDELINES
- Be polite & respectful
- Critique the writing not the writer
- Techy & picky feedback put on the ms & upload to #critiques-uploaded, discuss larger issues in the live meeting
- Feedback as the author requested (The author might request plot only, or character arc, etc. Given unasked for feedback is a waste of time & detrimental to the process.)
- Members must write Spec Fict for publication
- Attend & critique at least 6 meetings per year. (We understand life happens, but participation is how we learn and grow as writers.)
